The well-paced acclimatization process allows you to comfortably reach the renowned Tengboche and Thame monasteries, as well as the Ama Dablam Base Camp. Surrounded by a dramatic amphitheater of 6,000- and 7,000-meter peaks, along with Everest and Lhotse, this trek offers one of the world’s most stunning panoramic experiences.

Plan this journey at your preferred pace! This can be arranged as a private trip for 1 or 2 people at your desired start date, with guaranteed departure. Route stages can be adjusted, extended, or shortened according to your time and comfort preferences.

For an additional experience, we recommend extending your trip with a jungle safari at the 5-star Kasara Resort in Chitwan National Park or a cultural add-on to Bhutan.

Best Time to Travel

The ideal travel months are September to December and March to June. Daily departures are available during these periods, and any extensions or additional tours can be arranged individually.

Requirements

This trek is technically moderate; however, you should be fit, have endurance, and be comfortable with mountain terrain. Treks of 4 to 8 hours should be manageable, and a certain level of adaptability to weather changes is helpful. A sports medical check is recommended before the journey. It’s essential to pace yourself and stay hydrated (4–6 liters daily) for proper acclimatization. Slow, consistent hiking is key to adjusting to the climate, food, and sleeping arrangements. Due to the higher altitude, altitude sickness can be a risk; immediate descent may be required in some cases.
